The golf experience

On the course at Twin Eagles

Reputation: Two 18-hole championship courses — the Talon (Jack Nicklaus and Jack Nicklaus II) and the Eagle (Steve Smyers/Patrick Andrews), which Golf Magazine named a 'Best New Private Course.' Both were fully renovated and reopened in late 2021.

Playability: Bundled, mandatory membership deeded to every home keeps golf density low — roughly 300 members per course with 10-minute tee times, so access is strong.

Dining: A recently expanded clubhouse (part of a ~$22.5M master plan that also reworked the Talon) with an indoor/outdoor bar, casual and formal dining, the Midway Cafe, a card/activity room, and an event room and balcony overlooking both courses; four new bocce courts beside the clubhouse, plus a separate fitness/spa building and a chickee-hut bar over the resort pool and lake.

Insider notes — Twin Eagles
  • Two championship courses — a Nicklaus design (the Talon) plus the award-winning Smyers Eagle course.
  • Bundled golf: a membership is deeded to every home (mandatory), so you own and join together — roughly 300 members per course.
  • A ~$22.5M master plan recently expanded the clubhouse and reworked the Talon, so the amenities are genuinely current.
  • Northeast Naples — more land and nature for the money, about 25-30 minutes to the beach and downtown.
